I am so sad to hear about your loss. I knew of Paul for most of my life. He was a friend of my father, Dave, who was a truck driver. When JD Excavating was located on the White Horse Pike near Rt. 73 our family lived in the house right next door to their yard. I remember watching Paul operating a huge track driven excavator. He would be so completely concentrating on what he was doing that he wouldn’t allow himself to be distracted by anything. He would just stare straight ahead while he was working. He would always be chewing on a big fat cigar that he lit earlier but had gone out hours ago. The obituary is accurate of his kindness. It was unmatched. I remember when my family fell on some hard times back in the early 70s. Paul and Barbra took us in and let us stay in their house for some time until my parents got their act together. I will never forget their kindness and still speak about it today. Our thoughts are with the entire Murray family for the loss that you are enduring.
