Obituary of Paul Lloyd

Please share a memory of Paul to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Paul Lloyd, Jr. was born on March 5, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey. He was the youngest of 6 children born to the late Paul and Clara Lloyd. The Lord came quietly and took Paul home on Tuesday, June 9, 2011. Paul was affectionately known as Buster. He was educated in the Winslow Township School System. For over thirty years, Buster was employed with the Chrysler Corporation in Delaware. In his later years, he was employed with Napa Auto Parts. Paul was also a faithful servant to Faith Temple Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee, custodian, choir president and a pillar in the church. He was recently made a walking Deacon. He was also a member of the Community Ushers of South Jersey. One of Buster's passions was for antique cars. He loved attending cars shows, restoring cars and going fishing. Paul was the rock that everyone could lean on for comfort, advice and support. Buster was known for his honesty, loyalty, and for being a straight shooter. There are so many adjectives that could be used to describe him. Paul was a loving and devoted family man. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Lloyd, III and his brother, Elwood "Sonny" Purnell. Paul leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Annie; two daughters, Michele and Nikkie; two brothers, Melvin Purnell , Harlem, NY and Robert Purnell (Connie), Camden, NJ; two sisters, Jean Coley (James) and Rebecca Jones both of Camden, NJ; a cousin, Helen Johnson who was like a sister, Berlin, NJ; 6 grandchildren, 7 brothers-in-law; 1 sister-in-law, nephews, cousins, friends and his Faith Temple Church family.
