Obituary of Patricia A. Swain

Swain, Patricia A. was born on March 19, 1959 to the late Edna Roundtree and Arthur Swain Jr. She was educated most of her life in Georgia and then moved to Camden, New Jersey in her teens, where she attended and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. During her high school years, patricia was very athletic; playing on the basketball team and enjoyed other sports. She always had a positive outlook on life even through some of the darkest parts of her life. She always shined with a gleam of faith pushing every one forward in a positive direction. Patricia was the type of person that once she set her mind to a mission you can rest assure it will be completed. Patricia was very close to her family. She would always try to have Sunday dinners, to keep in touch with everyone. That was the highlight of her week. Not say that she didn't love her job; Patricia had to be one of the few individuals that loved going to work everyday. It was unbelievable, but inspiratyional at the same time. That same inspiration she endured, she tried to portray to the less fortunate by showing her home with family and friends who needed uplifting. She showed them it doesn't matter where you started its how you finished. Patricia had a very unique positive spirit and outlook on life. She will be truly missed. She was predeceased by her brother and nephew, Jermaine Swain and Jerry Swain. She leaves to mourn her daughter LaTanya Swain; three grandchildren, her siblings, Valerie Swain, William Swain, Tawanda Swain, Myeka Swain and Crystal Withers and a host of nieces and nephews; grandniece; grandnephew; in addition, two very special friends, Marlene Harvey and Sharilyn Clarke.
