Pastor James Russell Campbell, Jr., affectionately known as Moog, was born in Philadelphia to the late James R., Sr. and Lorraine Campbell. He graced this world on July 24, 1970. The youngest of nine children, no one knew then what a special gift the Lord was bestowing upon us. God in his infinite wisdom called him home on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
Pastor Campbell had a godly heart. At an early age, his love for others was sincere and trust. He was full of love. He understood God's love for humanity. Pastor Campbell was also given the gift of Joy and laughter. He loved to laugh and hhis smile was truly contagious. If he made you upset, he would also find a way to make you laugh, whether you wanted to or not. The same applied when he was upset. Laughter prevailed. Pastor Campbell longed to be at peace with his fellow man. It would affect his spirit if he couldn't naturally show love. He married his loving wife, Jaleccia on May 13, 2010.
Pastor Campbell had a great compassion for his family. It motivated him to keep the love and loyalty for family. He was a loving husband, a devoted Dad, a caring brother and uncle, but it didn't stop there. He cared deeply for his friends and even strangers in need. Pastor Campbell gave his love and heart with great passion for others. Even in the midst of long suffering, his loving kindness knew no boundaries. Even to his enemies, God's love prevailed.
