was born on September 8, 1939 to the late Ola Mae and Preston Allison. She departed this life on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Camden County Health Service Center, Turnersville, NJ.



A native of Florence, SC, she attended Gibbs High School. She was baptized at an early age. She later met her husband, Charlie Harrell. Eventually they were marred, started a family and settled in New Jersey in 1971.



Maxine was a loving wife and a beautiful mother. A caring person to all and a devoted worker at Arrow International.



Also, she was a devoted member of Christ Care Unit Missionary Baptist Church. Before becoming disabled, Maxine enjoyed working in the church. maxine loved the word and singing the songs of Zion.



She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Genwright; 3 brothers, Jimmie Allison, Charles Preston Allison and his spouse Willomenia and Jimmie Rae Allison; three sisters, Mattie Langley and her spouse James, Jessie Bell Collins and her spouse Willie and Elsie Cotton and her spouse Charlie.



She leaves to mourn: her husband, Charles Harrell; her son, Charles Harrel and his spouse, Eugenia of North Carolina; 2 daughters, Angela Johnson and her spouse, Walter Johnson IV of Sicklerville, NJ and Darsean Harrell of Cherry Hill, NJ; nine grandchildren, Tonishea Gilmer, Lionel Carpening, Dominick Hawkins, Jr., Nafis Abdullah, Gabrielle Harrell. Ciarra Johnson, Camielle Johnson, Samone Johnson and Chase Brittingham; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.



Services will be held 11am Friday, August 27, 2010 at Christ Care Unit Missionary Baptist Church, Sicklerville and Grimes Roads, Sicklerville. Viewing will be from 9am until 11am only. Burial in Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, New Jersey.
