Viola Herbert was united in Marriage to the late Robert John Herbert. Out of that marriage they had four children two girls and two boys.

She was employed in the Camden School System. Where she was working as an crossing guard which she loved to do faithfully. Even when she retired, you would still find her on her corner. Something she loved to do... she enjoyed cooking, entertaining her family and friends and talking on the phone with her late sister bernice.

On May 19, 2010 the Lord called her to come home to eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her many memories; her children Carol (Bill Curtis), Dianne (Jim McCargo), Robert Herbert, Jr. and Wayne Herbert (Missey), Two brothers, Charles and Raymond Massey, three sisters, Shirely, Sadie and Elizabeth. 13 grandchildren, 22 great grands and one great great grandchild. Host of nieces, nephews and friends. She precedes in death five brothers, three sisters and two grand daughters. She will truly be missed by many.
