Clarence E. Garrison of Burlington Twp., NJ passed away on February 19, 2010 at age 62 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, NJ. Born in Salisbury, MD on December 9, 1947 to Thomas S. Garrison, Sr., (deceased) and Julia C. Garrison. Affectionately known as "CE" and "Wilt", he graduated from Palmyra High School in 1965, and then attended Winston-Salem University in North Carolina for 3 years. Clarence worked at CE Glass ? American Float Glass (AFG) in Riverton, NJ for 26 years and at General Services Administration/TMI in Burlington Twp. for 5 years. His favorite employment was driving a forklift, which he truly enjoyed and he had numerous stories about his activities and experiences while driving his forklift. He joined Macedonia Baptist Church in his early teens, and recently rededicated his life to The Lord at Reconciliation Community Church in Manasses, Va. He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother Julia C. Garrison of Southampton, NJ; a brother Thomas S. Garrison, Jr. (Sheila) of Burlington Twp, NJ and a sister Annette G. Davis of Dale City, Va. Also a son Tony Garrison of Baltimore, MD and a daughter Elaine Hawkins (William) of Camden, NJ. Also 5 grandchildren, Tyra and India Garrison of Baltimore, MD and Clarence, Taijmere and Zaria Porter of Camden, NJ. Clarence is also survived by 2 great grandchildren. Clarence was divorced from Debbie Garrison of Louisiana and Lettie Garrison of Delaware. He also leaves his very special friend and companion, Denise Borkowski of Burlington, NJ who tirelessly cared for him during his illness. Clarence is also survived by aunts, Nellie Smith of Salisbury, MD and Elder Priscille Richardson of Willingboro, NJ and by uncles Joshua Garrison (Juanita) of Burlington Twp, NJ, Howard Conway (Darlene) of Garfield, NJ and Fulton Conway (Frances) of Beverly, NJ and a whole host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
