Tony Lamar "Gentle Giant" Miles was born in Stratford, New Jersey on January 22, 1971 to Barbara Smith and Alfred Miles.

He moved to California at the age of 7 and graduated from DeAnza High School in 1990, where he played football and basketball. Tony was a Play station and Eagles fanatic. His smile and spirit warmed the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. He never left anyone without letting them know he loved them.

Tony first gave his life to Christ in the year 2000 at Providence Mission Baptist Church, until moving back to New Jersey in 2008.

He leaves to mourn his parents, Barbara Smith and Alfred Miles; his three sons, Kwame Miles of Tucson, AZ, DeVonte Miles of Bay Area, CA and Christopher Miles of Sicklerville, NJ; his two daughters, Tyeka and Tiara Miles both of Bay Area, CA; his three siblings, Eric Jerome Jackson of Lindenwold, NJ, Vaughn Lamont Miles and NaDira Kai Serquina of Bay Area, CA; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, for whom he will truly be missed.
