Reginald Nelson, affectionately known as Reggie, was born on March 4, 1948 to the late Rosa Beatrice Nelson and Charles Reaves. On Wednesday, October 16, 2013, his struggle ended and sickness was to be no more as he was called home to eternal rest with God.

Reggie attended Braddock Senior High School in Braddock, Pennsylvania. He and his wife Sherry relocated to New Jersey approximately 20 years ago where he worked as a loan processor for Cendant Mortgage until he retired. Reggie was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Lindenwold, New Jersey. He was a very special person who loved communicating with family and friends on Facebook. He was also an avid sports fan. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.

To cherish his memories, he leaves a loving and caring wife, Sherry Nelson, to whom he was married for 45 years; a daughter and beautiful granddaughter who he loved dearly, Kenarda Nelson (Darius) and Daria Lael; brothers, Cliff Nelson (Dona), Tony Nelson, Derek Nelson (Rhonda), and Darryl Reaves; sisters, Venetia Hurd, Darcel Jones and Delonda Cooper (Terry); aunts and uncles, Doris Stokes, Edith Hamilton, Delores Lee, Margaret Barbour (Kenny), Malcolm Nelson; he also leaves the entire Reaves Family. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, JaMese Nelson and brother-in-law, Maurice Hurd.
