Eloise Coats was born in Madison, Georgia on June 29, 1956; the sixth child of Leonard and Elizabeth Coats.
The family relocated to Berlin, New Jersey in 1964, where Eloise attended the local public school system. She graduated from Edgewood Regional High School, class of 1975. Also in 1975, she became a member of Greater Mt. Carmel Church of God in Christ, West Berlin, New Jersey.
Her dream was to become a nurse, so she furthered her education to fulfill that dream by taking classes online. During her schooling, she gained employment at Lakeland Hospital, Blackwood, New Jersey as a Nurse's Assistant. Later in life, she became a Home Health Aide.
Eloise enjoyed to be around and talking to people. She also loved to read, dance and listen to music.
On Sunday, January 6, 2013, Eloise accepted God's call to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
Along with fondly cherished memories and saddened hearts, Eloise leaves behind one son, Ronald T. Coats (Sonaya) of Runnemede, NJ; two daughters, Nicole and tamer Coats, both of Camden, NJ; six grandchildren Rajae, Jasmine, Ashton, Ashley, Trinity and Xavier; her mother Elizabeth Coats of Madison, Ga; four brothers, Charles H. Smith (Leola) of Stratford, NJ, Charlie Coats, Jr. (Doris) of Lindenwold, NJ, George Coats of Madison, Ga and Frank Jackson, Jr. (Carol) of West Atco, NJ; two sisters, Jannie Taylor of Camden, NJ and Betty J. Clark (Roger) of Madison, Ga and a host of other family members and friends.
