Rodney (DeBow) Lamont Blount was born on May 12, 1990 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Deborah and Ronnie Blount.

He attended and graduated from Atlantic City High School in the Class of 2009. He played freshman football and Varsity basketball. Rodney later attended Burlington County College on a basketball scholarship.

His dream to play basketball was influenced by Coach Allen Ragland, Coach Gene Allen and Coach Carmichael who took a special interest in Rodney.

Rodney had a passion for music which led him in pursuit of a career in rap music with the Atlantic City All City Gang.

Rodney loved to make people laugh and his loving heart and kind way with his nieces and nephews was displayed in their love for their "Uncle Bobo". Rodney also had a special love for his girlfriend Lauren Pitts.

He is survived by his parents, Deborah Blount (Najee) of Atlantic City, New Jersey and Ronnie Blount of Fort Wayne, Indiana, siblings: Krystle, Veronica, Ronnie, Jr., Aesha and Isaiah, maternal grandparents;(predeceased by grandfather David M. Ross, Sr.), William & Rev. Evelyn Booze, paternal grandparent: Betty Lofton and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
