I used to go to school with Lonnie at lake track elementary school. We had Mrs Mills in 3rd grade. I moved to bonita springs FL in 1977. Lonnie was one of best friends in school and I've thought of him over the years . At a time when skin color decided where you lived it didn't matter to Lonnie. I remember he would put one silver bracelets on his bicep and pop it off and I was impressed. It's amazing how time flies and the obituary sounded just like him. He was always happy.
