Obituary of James L. Taylor

James L. Taylor, 78, passed peacefully on October 12, 2021 from Mesothelioma. Jim was a Merchant Marine and US Navy Veteran, where he served during the Cubin Missile Crisis. He spent 30+ years of dedicated service to the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He worked as a painter and contractor. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and taking care of his animals throughout the years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Taylor (nee McCabe). He was a devoted father to Amy Wheeler (Eugene), Jennifer Longo (Peter) and Rebecca Kravitz (Todd). He was a loving Grandfather to James, Devon, Brenna, Curtis, Noah, Peter III, Jesselyn Rose and Nathaniel. He was blessed to have 2 beautiful Great Granddaughters, Nola Rose & Atlas Jade. He is also survived by his fur babies, Lucky and Snickerdoodle. James was the treasured son of the late Curtis Taylor and the late Gertrude Lawrence. Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
