William Craig Toomer, Sr. (affectionately known as "Bill") was born to the late Donald and Pearl Toomer on April 15, 1950 in Camden, NJ. He was the oldest of four children.
Billy grew up in East Berlin with his family.
Billy was educated in West Berlin Elementary School district, graduated from Edgewood Regional High School-Tansboro, NJ. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, from 1976 to 1983. He was honorably discharged. Billy joined the United Postal Service in 1983 until 2015 at his retirement of 40 years of service. Billy became known as the "MUSIC MAN" of Sicklerville Post-Office, he LOVED listening to the Oldies, BEST SALE CLERK and BEST POP-POP. Everybody Loved Billy.
Billy had so many hobbies like fishing, crabbing, and hunting. He loved the great out doors. Billy was a great handy man.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Pearl Toomer and his son William Craig Toomer, Jr.
He leaves to morn his loving memories his wife: Lisa Brown Toomer, his Children: Sherrise (Saleen), Alexeon (Adrienne), NaShae (Robert), Alicia, Khalil (Egypt), 25 Grand Children:, 10 Great Grandchildren, 2 Sisters: Donna Mitchell (Esua) and Gwendolyn Toomer, 1 Brother: Donald Toomer (Henrietta), 1 Uncle: Gerald Pointer (Ida Mae), 1 Aunt: Anna Pointer, Mother-in-law: Ida Furlow, 3 Sisters-in-law, 5 Brothers-in-law, God sister: Angela Furlow and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends/Special Friends: Virgil Carmen, Mema Whittington, Marie Claud-Paul and Juan Rodriguez.
