Obituary of Charles E. Covington
Charles Edward Covington was born in Camden, New Jersey to Charles Edward Thomas and Frances Eleanor Covington on January 11, 1959. He grew up in Camden, New Jersey and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1977. After high school, he attended welding school, worked for Camden City Public Works Department, Yellow Taxi Cab Services, American Red Cross and ended his career in construction. Charles was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Charlie Brown" and "CB". He was an avid Raiders and Spurs fan, who loved to crack jokes. He loved to make his family and friends laugh and was often the life of the party. Charlie enjoyed being able to help out his family and friends. He loved all of his family, but he shared a particularly special bond with his youngest sister, Janine. Charlie is predeceased by his parents, Charles Edward Thomas and Frances Eleanor Covington. Charlie will be lovingly remembered by his son Damond Miller; daughters Danyell Miller and NaKiyah Dames; grandchildren: Damon Miller, Deschaun Miller, Amir Dames and Amaya Fearon; sisters: Cheryl Jones (nee Covington), Debbie Thomas, Charlene (Rory) Lockhart (nee Thomas), Janine (Chad) King (nee Covington); Aunt Dorothy Thomas and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
