was born January 31, 1931 in Paulsboro, New Jersey, to the late Charles and Carrie Pearl (Johnson) McCormick. On Tuesday, August 2, 2011, Odessa departed this earthly life to rest in eternal peace. She was one of seventeen children.



Odessa accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at an early age and was baptized at Second Baptist Church of Paulsboro, NJ by the late Reverend Brown.



Odessa received her education in the Paulsboro school system. She continued her education in business by attending the Apex Beauty School and Hamburger University.



Odessa met and married James W. Tunstall in 1952 and to this union three children were born; Roxanne D. Tunstall, Lecia R. Knight and Jay B. Tunstall I. Odessa was a very affectionate, loving, devoted and caring wife mother.



She leaves to cherish her memories: three children, RoxanneD. Tunstall of Willingboro, NJ, LeciaR. Knight of Sterling, VA, Jay B. Tunstall I of Dallas, TX; one son-in-law, Robbie Knight Sr. of Sterling, VA: five grandchildren, Robbie Knight Jr. of Smyrna, GA, Lanette Davis of Gibsonton, FL, Kimberly Benton of Burlington, NJ, Lawrence Knight of Williamsburg, VA and Jay B. Tunstall II of Pennsauken, NJ; six great-children, Ta'mia and Kailyn Rhett, Joshua and Jeremiah Davis, Ja'miah and Jazlynn Knight; one sister, Lenora Owens; three sisters-in-law, Clara Bagby, Flora McCormick and Elenor McCormick; three brothers-in-law, David Bagby, Alexander Dean and Fred Owens and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
