Gloria E. Howell was born July 7th, 1935 in Camden New Jersey to the late Edward and Myrtle Stewart. On friday August 29, 2014 God called Gloria home after a lengthy illness. She received her education at Carpenter Street School. Gloria drove a school bus for a living. She worked for the Deptford Township School System for over 15 years with First Student Bus Company (formerly Ryder Bus Company) in Lawnside, New Jersey. In the late 60's and early 70's Gloria was known for hosting barbecues. She really loved to cook for her friends and family. You could always count on her barbecues for having good food, good drinks and good people. Gloria also loved to go crabbing in the wee hours of the morning with her family. Her real love was for her dog Jay Jay and her two talking birds. The dogs and birds were her companions. Gloria loved traveling with her best friend Betty Archie and the Spates family on vacations and most of all visiting Virginia. Everybody that knows Gloria knows her well!
