Grace Anna Elizabeth Moody (nee Ransom) was born April 27, 1931 to the late Lilmon

H. Ransom, Sr. and Malinda James Ransom. She was the sixth child born to that union.


Grace was preceded in death by her three brothers: Richard Ransom, Sr., Lilmon H.

Ransom, Jr., James Ransom and two sisters: Anita Alexander and Gwendolyn Ransom.

Her cousin and best friend Virginia Carter also preceded her in death.


Grace accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifelong member of St. Paul Baptist

Church. She served as president of the Senior Usher Board for many years, sang in the

Sanctuary Choir and served on various committees whenever she was needed.


Grace was educated in the Cinnaminson school district for her elementary years, then

attended Palmyra High School graduating in 1949. After graduating from High School,

she attended Secretarial School in Philadelphia, PA. Grace went on to work for the US

Government at Frankford Arsenal in Pennsylvania for over 30 years, retiring in 1986.

After her retirement, she held several positions with various companies to keep herself

busy.


Grace was united in marriage to Richard Edward Moody, Sr. From this union three

children were born: Charmaine Elizabeth, Richard Edward, Jr. and Allyson Linda.


Grace leaves to cherish her memory her three children, a host of nieces and nephews

and special friends Ernestine Smith and Marilyn Townes.
