Arnold J. E. Marshall, Sr. Obituary

Arnold John Ellis Marshall Sr was born on June 4, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence Carl Ellis and Lucy Mae Square, one of two children born of this union. When Lucy Mae passed Arnold was adopted and raised by Deacon John Marshall and his wife Louise, who were distant relatives still within the family. He later learned of and reunited with other siblings: Christine and Carl.

Arnold was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and received his diploma.

Arnold was married and divorced and out of it came four gifts from God.

After some time, Arnold met and dated Rosetta Warren and together they committed to a lifelong lasting relationship of 35 years together as a blended family of seven children of which two more gifts were born from this union.

Arnold worked diligently and simultaneously pursued secondary academia at Glassboro State College to further his education for the workplace. He was an Account Manager and worked for collection agencies for many years as his major work. In addition, Arnold used his financial skills at Cur-Sal maintenance business.

Arnold attended World Harvest Christian Center and was renewed in Christ. Then, he was led to join and assist a local ministry in his community. He read and studied the Bible, watched true ministries especially Les Feldick ministries in his latter 10 years or more and live virtual church worship services.

Arnold enjoyed listening to music, playing chess and board games, and watch the Dallas Cowboys play football as his favorite team in camaraderie of the spirit of friendly, witty, good fellowship with family and friends. Until his health began to decline, Arnold envisioned, as much as he was able, and put together family cookouts for birthdays and on Memorial Days annually in commemoration of family unity. But.......

"In His omnipotent wisdom God saw fit to call Arnold John Ellis Marshall Sr home to Glory"

Arnold was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Rosetta Warren, Son: Tito Warren, Brothers: Deacon Bennie Marshall and Carl Ellis, Sister: Christine Zellars Johnson.

He leaves to cherish good memories to his six children: Rev. Donnie A. Marshall Sr., Lynn Marshall, Andrea Marshall, Arnold John Marshall Jr., Jessica Warren Wyatt and Julian Marshall, Sister-in-law Sarah Marshall, grandchildren: Dwayne Pierre Marshall, Ebony Mitchell, Sade Marshall, AJ Marshall III, John

Tribbet III, Brittany Marshall, Indya Marshall, Alexus Bridges, Tyriek Wyatt, Kent Hale, Tireya Wyatt, Keenan Hale, Cameron Hale, Shaliyah Percival, Donnie Marshall Jr, Shamiyah Percival, Hannah Marshall, Julian Marshall Jr, Tivoni Wyatt, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
