Linda was a beautiful person and a caring friend. I will miss our long conversations about genealogy, African-American history and of course our mutual love of Jayden, Desiree and Isaiah. When I think of her, it will always be with a smile. I loved her laugh as we found a bit of humor and irony in almost everything we spoke of. I didn’t think she would leave us so soon as she had much more to finish in her life. Rest in peace my friend, rest in peace.

I met Linda at our church ,
Christ Care Unit Missionary Baptist Church. We served on the “Greeters Ministry “ on the same Sundays.
Linda was faithful to her assignment and enjoyed encouraging and helping people. That ministry really suited her personality as she had a warm smile, and a welcoming spirit.
She was my Sister in Christ.
She loved coming to church and hearing and studying the Word of God,

Dear First Cousin, full of laughter! Admired as a graduate of Central Regional High School in Bayville. The well-known, only experienced Fire Baton Twirler during her high school career in parades and games. An encourager of professionalism and progress. I know her as, 'Giga', my childhood nickname for her. A lover of learning and Family. GOD loves you Best, Dear 'Cuz', in JESUS Name, A-MEN (Mel)

Linda was a wonderful friend of 38 years. When she mentored me on my first day at the hospital, I witnessed what a hard worker she was. We walked the Seaside Boardwalk every Saturday at 9 AM and when it was sweltering hot, she encouraged us to continue and not quit. She always had interesting hobbies to share….scrapbooking, card making (loved my Christmas and birthday cards), genealogy and decorating. I am going to miss our annual lunch at the Office Lounge with Sally, a highlight of my year seeing good friends. RIP, Linda. I really am going to miss you.

Linda was such a beautiful person inside and out, a graduate of the CRHS Class of 1971, an ardent researcher and genealogist. Many of you will recall how she would drive from Berlin NJ to attend our meetings. She visited the museum many times during its restoration to get tax maps and census lists to corroborate her family research and all of Manitou Park's History. She was a beautiful soul, and she will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace Linda... prayers to you and your entire family.
