Vivianne Achieng Onyango, 32, of Deptford, NJ unexpectedly met her demise on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Born at War Memorial Hospital in Nakuru, Kenya, she was the daughter of Kennedy Onyango Aora of Deptford, NJ and Irene Magunga of Andover, MA, sister to Tricia Onyango and Zoey Magunga, and mother to Mykah Frank.

Vivianne started school at Victonell Academy in Nakuru, Kenya, then transferred to St. Patrick’s School in Woodbury, NJ in 1999 when she moved to the United States at the early of age 7. She later joined Lambs Road Academy and graduated from Deptford Township High School with the class of 2010.

Vivianne’s first job was at Deptford Skating Rink, where she quickly rose to the position of manager at age 14. She later worked at the cooperate office of McDonald’s where she became a Quality Control Manager while attending Rowan College of South Jersey.

Vivianne was hardworking and an extremely social person who loved to spend time with friends, family, and even acquaintances. She enjoyed dancing, singing, helping others, and cosmetology. Her purest joy came from spending time with her son and her family. If you knew Vivianne, then she thought of you as her family. Vivianne lit up every room she walked into and always made people smile.

It is with great sadness we announce the falling star, but even in death, stars still twinkle.
