Remembering the Life of Sandra E. Freeman


Sandra Elaine Freeman was born in Camden NJ. She was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Young and was the oldest of 3 children. She was born on January 25. 1950 and entered into eternal rest on February 2, 2025.


A graduate of Camden High School in Camden NJ, Sandra met and dated fellow schoolmate Joseph L. Freeman. The two would eventually unite in marriage on August 8, 1972. From thisunion, God blessed them with a daughter, 2 grandchildren, and a great- granddaughter.


Sandra was a dedicated employee of the Camden County Board of Social Services for over 25 years. Here she made many friends and retired a beloved Supervisor. She enjoyed cooking,watching movies, listening and dancing to the oldies, playing bingo, and most of all spendingtime with family.


Sandra never liked to worry or bother anyone with her problems. Instead she would prefer to go to God in prayer. She offered her love to everyone who knew her and always gave encouragement, support, and kind words of wisdom to family and friends. She had a heart of gold.


Sandra is survived by her daughter-Nicole Conner, son in law- Daryl Conner, two grandchildren- Troy Henley Freeman, and Leah Conner, one great granddaughter- Ariah Henley Freeman, and a host of sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews.
