Obituary of David George Blanco

David George Blanco peacefully departed this life on March 2, 2021 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point, New Jersey. David was born March 7, 1938 in Miami, Florida to Cyril and Julia Pinto. He was the youngest of five siblings. He grew up in Nassau, Bahamas and then moved to the United States as an adult. David was a longtime resident of Atlantic City and Pleasantville, New Jersey. He worked at the Trump Castle for many years and also Regina Construction. He is known for his big cigar and sweeping the entire block daily where he resided in Pleasantville. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Rose Blanco; his father, Cyril Pinto; his mother, Julia Pinto and three brothers, Harold, Jackie and Oscar Pinto. David leaves to cherish his memory, his son Craig Burke (Claudean) of Northfield, New Jersey; his brother, John Pinto of Atlantic City, New Jersey; three sisters-in-law, Mary Felton (Franklin) of North Carolina; Dora H. Purden of Gates, North Carolina and Edith Booker Burke of Joliet, Illinois, his grandchildren, Craig Mansfield (Cherita) of Chesterfield, Virginia, Andree’ Mansfield of Medford, Delaware and Christine Burke of Northfield, New Jersey; seven great-grandchildren; five nieces, Sukra Pinto of Nassau, Bahamas, Marnivia Spencer of Knightdale, North Carolina, Sheryl Armstead (Samuel) of Gatesville, North Carolina, Sandra Pierce of Portsmouth, Virginia and Glenda Riddick (Milton) of Gatesville, North Carolina; his longtime neighbor and caregiver, Gregory Roberts of Pleasantville, New Jersey; and a host of friends.
