Obituary of Madge Helena Knox

Madge “Bunny” Knox was born in Dagsboro, DE on January 22, 1936. Bunny grew up in Delaware where she attended Millsboro Public School System. Relocated from Millsboro, DE to Philadelphia, PA where she met and married the love of her life Manny Knox, and with this union they became a blended family of four: Johnny, Belinda and Daniel, and Marilyn. They moved and settled in Willingboro, NJ in 1968 until her demise.

She was employed with Holland Laundry in Philadelphia, PA as a Silk Finisher for approximately 15 years. She was also employed by Royal Cleaners in Cherry Hill, NJ until she retired. After retirement, Bunny enjoyed life as a home maker, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed every minute with her family and friends.

Pre-deceased by her mother and father, the late Knowles and Mable Hovington, her siblings, Knowles Hovington Jr (Alice) and Connie Ellis. Survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Manny Knox, siblings; Carol Dennis (Sam), Ronnie Hovington (Jane), Mable Warren (Gary); children Johnny Hovington (Tina), Belinda Smith (Warren Sr - pre-deceased), Daniel Whalen (Ruth), and Marilyn Harding; grandchildren Johnathan, Jessica, Jordan, Warren Jr, Aaron, Darryl (pre-deceased), Kendalyn, Guy, and Emanuel; and also a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
