Obituary of Pamela L. Elliott

Pamela Levenia Thomas Elliott ceased from her labor and departed this life on September 17, 2017. She was born in Somers Point, New Jersey, to the late Robert W.  and Faith C. Thomas.

Pam attended Absegami High School and furthered her education at Atlantic Cape Community College where she received an Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration. She continued on and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Stockton University in Pomona, New Jersey and later completed certifications at Cornell University School of industrial and Labor Relations.

Pam’s professional career afforded her to serve in the capacity of Executive Director of Tri County Independent Living Center in Millville, New Jersey from 1999-2012.  At the living center, she utilized her skills in Marketing, Fund Raising, Social Services, Organizational Planning, Outreach Services, ADA Training and Grant Writing.

Pamela devoted her life to family, church, friends, persons with disabilities, the youth in her Church and community, and especially the at-risk youth. She was the “GO TO PERSON” for any fundraiser, outreach dinners, mentoring, annual youth trips and graphic art design. She was an amazing cook and baker. Pam was a ROCK to many who needed her help and depended on her!

Pamela leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Richard Elliott (Shaye) of Mays Landing, New Jersey, and Eric Elliott (his fiance Jessica Stell) of Hammonton, New Jersey;  her daughter, Katrina Elliott of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey;  grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jasmine, Jashua, and Serina Elliott, and Derrick and Savion Willis;  her brothers, Prince Andri and Leanard T.Thomas; her sister,  Sheree D Thomas; her aunts, Shirley Woodie, Marva Jerkins (Curtis), Janet Evans (Marvin), Venice Forbey (Lloyd), and Patricia Nash; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pamela was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Joseph and Arnold Thomas; and her niece, Toshina D. Thomas.
