Verdell Elizabeth Nattiel, 67, of Atlantic City, departed this life at her home on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Born in Gainesville, Florida, she attended school there, and came to this area in the mid 1960’s. Ms. Nattiel was a Day One employee at Trump Plaza Hotel Casino, having worked in the Environmental Services Department., and retired after 28 years of service. She was a former member of the Eastern Star, also in Atlantic City. She was the foundation of her family, was fun loving, and her house was “the house to be at.” She told it like it was, but was very giving, even to her last. She was predeceased by her parents, Charlie, Sr., and Ruby Nattiel; and her brother, Robert Taylor. Surviving are 2 daughters, Lolita Adams (Harold) of Egg Harbor Township, and Patricia Nurse of Galloway; a son, Tarus Nattiel (Chantel) of Egg Harbor Township; sisters and brother, Pastor Rollie Davis of Pleasantville, Lemar Nattiel, Charlie Nattiel, and Vivian Nattiel Burnett (John), all of Gainesville; 4 grandchildren, Miles Johnson, Melina Johnson, Genira Nurse and Gelasia Nurse; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
