When the family moved to Richmond, Virginia, Naomi attended Armstrong High School and was a cheerleader. She graduated in 1954. She met Roosevelt Gloster Sr. at a school dance and they married on July 2, 1955. To this union were born 14 children. Naomi was an Social Worker at C.C.C.O.E.O Head Start for twenty nine years, where she retired. Naomi was baptized in Jesus name in 1967 and she also received the Holy Ghost.
