Sandra Lee Collier was born December 07, 1949 and raised in Akron Ohio. She was the third of five children to Nelson Eaton Reavis (deceased) and Marion Scutchings Reavis. Sandra attended East High School in Akron, Ohio. She was a member of the marching band and graduated in 1967. She earned a Master of Science in Counseling with a Rehabilitation Counseling Option and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles. On June 12, 1976, Sandra was united in Holy Matrimony to Reverend William Ellis Collier, Jr. She was an adoring, loyal, dedicated wife and missed him dearly upon death. Sandra Collier was an active committed member of Jerusalem African Methodist Church in Clinton, MD pastored by Reverend Dr. Diane H. Johnson. Sandra joined Jerusalem on 05/11/2002 with her husband Reverend Williams Ellis Collier, Jr. She was a member of Dr. Virginia M. Manning Missionary Society (DVMMMS), Adult Choir, asa well as the Debs and Masters Training, Rites of Passage and the J3 Seniors Ministry. Sandra's careers included Case Manager primarily dedicated to child welfare, Para-Education with Prince George's County School District, Rehabilitation Counselor helping disabled employees return to work and Contrct Specialist with the U.S. Department of the Navy. She was the business owner of CC Rehabilitation Services providing resources to injured employees and C&C Crafts creating crafter gift items Sandra's hobbies included activities of the grandchildren as well as supporting youth centered activities, crafting, fishing, Bid Wiz and mastering the art of slot machines. As a teenager she was fashionably ahead of her time and extremely popular, never knowing a stranger. Some of her childhood joys included playing jacks, cards, double dutch, Roller Cade roller skating and gave her parents no trouble her entire childhood. On July 6th, Sandra Lee Collier went to her eternal home with our Heavenly Father and the Lover of her life with serenity and full agreement. Her memory and legacy are survived by their four children: Sandra Lee Collier, Jr., Alexis Patrice (Timothy) Moore II, Attorney William Ellis (Kisha) Collier III, and Kandice Shavon Collier. Sandra Essence continues to grace the lives of her seven grandchildren; Kevyn Aleksandra Collier-Roberts, Lyric Jade Moore, Aleise Simone Collier (Moore), Timothy William Moore III, Gerald Bayless III, Ava Marie Moore and William Ellis Collier IV. Sandra was preceded in death by her father Nelson Eaton Reavis. She will be forever missed by her mother Marion Scutchings Reavis and siblings: Lillian (Freddie) Williams, Krista (Hollis) Larkins, Sherma (Charles) Dailey and Terecia Reavis Gill. She will be gravely missed by loving Aunts including Panther Reavis and Ophelia High. Sandra's loving in-laws include her mother-in-law Mildred Covington Collier. Sisters and brother-in-laws: Helen (Bruce) Ballenger, Christine "Diane" (Carl) Mason, Eric "Rick" (Rennette) Colliier and Stacey (Edward) Tatum. In addition, Sandra is survived by a host of well-loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews as well as cousins and extended family.
