Zannie B. Marsh age 79, of Atlantic City New Jersey went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 21, 2014 at Eastern Pines Nursing Home in Atlantic Cuty, New Jersey. Born May 2, 1935 in Red Springs, North Carolina he was a resident of Atlantic City for thirty years; later residing in Pleasantville, New Jersey, where he lived until entering the nursing home. Zannie worked many years asa construction worker until his health began to fail. He enjoyed the outdoors a lot. Yopu could always catch him sitting on his porch or out in the yard. Preceding him in death was his parents, mother, Sophie Mae Marsh; father Zannie Marsh; two brothers, Alexander Marsh and Jule Marsh; two sisters lillie lae campbell and Jessie Lee McLean, all of Red Springs, North Carolina and one grandson, Lorenzo Lee Scott of Norfolk, Virginia. He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Zannie Marsh of Norfolk Virginia' two daughters, Gail Scott of Mays Landing New Jersey and Teneka Jones of North Carolina; one sister Mary Marsh of Red Springs, North Carolina; grandchildren, Regina Wilson of Norfolk, virginia, Lynn Scott of Mays Landing New Jersey, Nishelle Scott of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
