Rev. Johnnie L. Palmer, Sr., CFSP, a twenty year veteran in the Death Care Industry. Rev. Palmer received his training in Atlantic City, New Jersey under the direction of Mrs. Carolyn W. Greenidge of the Greenidge Funeral Home. An industrious young Johnnie joined the Greenidge staff as a maintenance person and worked his way up to become a licensed Funeral Director. Rev. Palmer graduated in 1995 with a Mortuary Science degree at Mercer County Community College. He received his B.A. from Philadelphia Biblical University, Langhorne, PA. A strong believer in education, he continued his education at Strayer University pursuing a M.B.A. and a master of Theology from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA.

His professional career began in Atlantic City; his career advancement as a supervisor and general manager has taken him to funeral homes in Camden County, Burlington County, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. His exposure has afforded him a wealth of knowledge about the funeral industry.

Rev. Palmer is licensed in both NJ and PA. He is also a life insurance producer and a notary. He is no stranger to the Atco area. He was raised in W. Atco and he graduated from Edgewood Regional High School (1983). He is a product of this community. His goal is to provide a high level of service to client families; he views the Death Care Industry as an extension of his ministry. Easing the burden of a bereaved family and providing an opportunity to say good-bye in the most dignified manner is very important to him. Covington Funeral Home is pleased to have Rev. Palmer as a member of our staff.
